Bluebonnet Hills Golf Course is on the east side of Austin, south of 290 and west of 130. It's a Jeff Brauer design from 1991, and is a reasonably priced links style course with open fairways, water on a couple of holes, lightly bunkered, and with some rolling hills to the layout. It's reasonably priced, 6500 yards from the championship tees, 113 slope and a 70 course rating, so obviously it's somewhat forgiving and easy on the golf game. I enjoy playing it since their mantra here is a 4 hour round, if you're slow, you'll hear from the marshalls.

Fine golf course for the price paid. Not an upscale layout oro facilities, but a good basic course. Pace of play ws around 4 hours which is perfect. The course was in good shape, except it's starting to dry out with the lalck of rain around here, but at least the greens were still in good shape. Interesting and varied layout with a good amount of challenge.

The course was as great as I remember it. Had not played it in a while, but returned to find the course in great shape. The morning we played there was a greens fee sale so it made the round even better.
