The course is north of Warren, just south of the New York State line in the Alleghenies. Nice, mountain style parkland layout of 6716 yards, 122 slope from the back tees. The first nine opened in 1961, the second 1970 and was designed by James Harrison and Ferdinand Garbin. Shotmaker's course, rolling and sloping fairways provides lies and stances that may be any combination of sidehill, uphill, etc. Water and sand, along with tree lined fairways, some narrow, provide all the challenge you need. Reasonably good condition when played last summer, and good rates for a round of golf.
