Blue Rock is just off Route 6 at Main/Great Western in South Yarmouth. It's just a 9 hole par three course with a par of 27, designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish in the 1960's. Good place to work on the short game, lots of interesting holes from 90 yards to 240 yards, requiring use of almost all the clubs in your bag. Nice setting, parkland style through a residential area, but with trees lining the course and blocking the homes. The course gets crowded in the summers with all skill levels of golfers, and the pace of play is very slow, and the greens suffer with many un-repaired ball marks. Play early or late, and you'll enjoy it more.
