Blackstone Creek Golf Course is north of Milwaukee in Germantown on Mequon Road, either I-43 or US 45/41 depending on where you're coming from. One of my favorite courses in the area, it's a traditional style of layout with tree lined fairways, water in play, in the form of the Menomonee River, which comes into play on a number of holes, and a nice change of pace with the routing. It was designed by Lloyd Robinson and from the black tees can play to 6,932 yards, 131 slope and 73.4 course ratings, and is a big solid course. Good challenging par 3s, a couple of doglegs, and good sized greens, always can count on good conditioning here. My only critique here is the pace of play is slow due to the difficult of the layout, and the higher handicappers trying to get around.

Played here yesterday for the first time. dramatic and fun. conditions were just fine. Driving almost anywhere in a cart was bumpy as hell and will beat you up, even at a slow speed. I did enjoy most of the course, had it to myself.
