Blackfoot is a muni, owned and operated by the town of Blackfoot. The course was designed by George Von Elm, a golf professional of some acclaim from the 1920's. From the blue tees it plays to 6,732 yards, 71.3/120 ratings, and can play as short as 5,789 yards. The best golf course to play in the general area on a public basis. The front side is long and tight, the back side opens up a bit. Overall a straightforward course, with all the trouble right in front of you, light use of bunkering, the greens are good sized, with moderate break. Greens fees are very reasonable.

Great Bargain. 25 bucks with cart on a Friday. Everything was in really nice condition, even bunkers. Course play is average to slightly above, with some challenging tight holes. Overall I would say that you get to use an array of different tee shots with different clubs, which makes it more of a thinking golf course as opposed to a grip it and rip it course. I would recommend.
