Great, fantastic course, wish it was close to Milwaukee. It's 2 1/2 hours northeast of Minneapolis, almost 6 from Milwaukee, and was designed by Pete Dye on a great tract of rolling land. The layout is part links, open and rolling terrain with bunkers and mounding, to tree lined fairways with good elevation changes. Around the large greens are the mounding, and grass bunkers Dye's known for...if you miss the green, you're not dead, but you need a good short game. Good conditioning and service, well worth the trip, one of Wisconsin's higher rated courses.

Was really looking forward to playing here with all the hype, but I was a bit disappointed. The conditions were below par, the greens bumpy and thin, and wasn't all that crazy about the layout, seemed contrived.

What a course! One of the hardest courses I've ever played. The rough was by far the longest and thickest I've ever played. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were great.
