Big Bend is a county-run course west of Charleston, south of St. Albans. On I-64 west from Charleston, exit at Kanawha Turnpike, proceed to Coal River and turn right, then right again after one block. The course is a basic parkland style course with tight tree lined fairways, designed by Claude Evans in 1964. From the back tees is 6,237 yards, par 71, with a 116 slope.
