Berkshire Hills is out on the east side of Cleveland in Chesterland near Fowlers Mill, and is a less expensive alternative. It's a hilly, parkland style of layout, originally designed by Ben Zink, playing to 6,600+ yards, 129 slope from the tips, from the White tees, it's a bit more manageable at 6,346 yards, 71.127. Requires accurate shot making off the tee and on approach to the smallish greens, the ability to work the ball will help here. The course is carved through the woods without homes or development in play. There's a few holes with water, light in bunkering, the main challenge is staying out of the trees.
