Bend of the River Golf Club is 30 minutes west of Glens Falls in Hadley and Lake Luzerne in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The course is an old parkland style of layout from the 1920's, routed through a summer resort community with trees and homes lining the fairways. It's only a 9 hole layout, tight fairways and small greens, and good for a quick round of golf at a reasonable rate. It's a par of 35, there's one par 5, some drivable par 4's, it's fun to play, and never crowded, save the weekends in the summer.
