Bella Collina is on the far northwest side of Orlando, near the Turnpike and US 50 and the Clermont area. It's part of a proposed residential community by an over zealous developer that never took off. It sits overlooking a dead lake (pesticides) on a 1900 acre tract of land where only a few homes were built. It was designed by Nick Faldo and Steve Smyers, and has a massive 50,000 square foot clubhouse, both the course and the clubhouse are unbelievably well maintained. It's not advertised widely, but it's open for public play. It's a strong course over rolling hills and sand dunes, mounded fairways, massive bunkers with complex greens. It will be enjoyable to the better golfer, and will annoy the higher handicapper. The middle tees are 6,500 yards, 131 slope, there's only water on one hole, the fairways are wide open and ranging, the bunkers plentiful.

BELLA is an outstanding private golf facility. I arrived at 10:00 AM at the bag drop and received impeccable services from one of the crew staff. The pro shop is pristine and I have never seen such a beautiful clubhouse. I went to the practice range and saw nobody during an hour of putting-chipping- and driving. I had the feeling to have the golf course for myself. This is great modern golf track with a lot of bunkers, so do not expect to play your best score, but man this place is awesome, greens are large but fair & roll true. Fairways are wide enough to hit drivers on most every holes, except for no 10-13 and 14 (please keep it in the bag). You need a range finder device bc no GPS on carts and not much yardage markers in fairways. I will never become a member of this private club, but please treat yourself and try it at least once.
