Has to be one of the better courses in all of New England. 6723 yards from the black tees, 135 slope, and 72.2 course rating, designed by Clive Clark. Rugged beauty, nice rolling fairways, water in the form of wetlands, lakes, and streams throughout. Well bunkered, heavy tree lined fairways, Well conditioned throughout the course, and nice, updated clubhouse facilities. Greens are large, smooth with some undulation, and roll well. The course is not too far off I-95 between Augusta and Waterville, on the north side of Belgrade near Long Pond.

A lot of hype for this golf course preceded our visit. Yes, the setting and views are nice, and the elevation change stimulating, but thought it was vastly overrated. Wide open off the tee, resort friendly, not all that much in the way of challenge. !00% golf, no development or housing around the course, nicely conditioned, you should be able to shoot your handicap here.
