Bel Meadow is 10 minutes south of Clarksburg, off I-75 at exit 115, then south a few miles. The course has been around since the 1960's, and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, SR. It's a classic parkland style of layout over relatively flat land, at least by West Virginia standards. The layout is challenging with water in play on 12 holes, a good amount of bunkering, and the greens tend to be quick, and are elevated. The front side's a good warm up for the much tougher bak, and it's definitely not for the higher handicapper or beginner. Greens fees are pricey on weekends, lower during the week. You can usually get around in 4 hours here, conditions are usually good.
