Beacon Park is about 30 minutes north
of Liverpool, England. Beautiful course routed over a hill which on a clear day you can see over Liverpool to the hills of North Wales. Great value, fair and straightforward course a Donald Steel design from 1982 of 6,151 yards, par 72 in the Lancashire Countryside, Excellent greens, striped and tree lined fairways but open enough, challenging, but fair, good quality greens, undulating lay, and nice views especially on the back side. A few blind tee balls, but most is straightforward, was in excellent condition the day after a few all-day rains.

Beautiful course with some of the best par threes anywhere. Fairways are a little hard but all in all one of the top tier courses in the area.
