Baywood is on the east side of Fayetteville, east of I-95 between the Murphy Rd and Clinton Rd exits, routed through a residential community. The course is tree and house lined with a good amount of water in play. It was designed by Steward Gooden in the early 1990's as part of the development of the community. It's a flat layout, walkable but with some distance between the holes. There's four sets of tees from 5,100 yards to 6,700 yards, the Blue tees play to 6,195 yards, 69.2/113 course and slope. Nice mix of holes, overall very forgiving and easy on the game, wide fairways, big greens, well conditioned throughout at a reasonable rate.

Course is closing in January if they don't find a buyer, conditions have been suffering lately.
