Baytree National is on the west side of Melbourne, just south of Wickham Road, exit 191 off I-95, then east to Baytree, then south. The course is a very well conditioned, links style of layout through a residential development, with most of the holes routed along the housing, but there area few with only natural areas. The course was designed by Gary Player in the mid-1990's, and from the tips is long and hard at just over 7,000 yards, 74.0/135, we generally play from the middle tees at 6,500 yards with a slope of 124, and it's plenty of golf course. It's a very well kept public course, very few fairways are adjacent to each other, challenging but enjoyable to play. Plenty of water, natural areas and OB, and sand, but somewhat forgiving off the tee. Big greens with a fair amount of undulation, and well conditioned. Some good risk/reward holes, some that give you a break.
