The Battle Creek Golf Course is about 40 minutes north of downtown Seattle off I-5 at the Marysville exit to the west. It's a muni, but a good one and a good value for the quality and conditioning of the course. The layout is traditional style with tree lined fairways over rolling hills, very scenic without homes or development lining the holes. There's a driving range and a par 3 course if you just want to work on your game, the only issue we ever have is the pace of play. There's a few nice views of Puget Sound, Camano Island and the Olympic Mountains. It's a Fred Jacobson design from the early 1990's, from the tips it's 6.500+ yards, the White tees play to 6,153 yards, 69.4/117 course and slope ratings.
