The Arthur Hills course at Palmetto Dunes is the shortest of the courses here at 6651 yards, 72.9 rating, and 129 slope. Nice variety of hole design, shotmaker's kind of course with tight fairways, doglegs, and narrow approaches to the small to mid-sized greens. A lot of water in play, at least half the holes, parkland style with tree lined fairways, challenging throughout. Like all the courses at Palmetto Dunes, very well maintained, excellent service in the pro shop on the course.

My buddies and I just spent a great weekend on the beautiful island of Hilton Head. Our experience at the Arthur Hills course in Palmetto Dunes was nothing shy of spectacular!! The course was well manicured, challenging, and we were pampered by the staff. Great layout!!! Must play!!!

We thought this was the best of the three courses at Palmetto Dunes. Nice layout through the lagoons and sand dunes, very challenging, but fair course. The RTJ course is more open and resort style, plenty of room off the tee, some Ocean views, overall, very nice. The Fazio course was long with most of the par fours over 400 yards, a number of parallel fairways, plenty of bunkers, forced carries, just not as stron as the other two courses.

This course should be on everyone’s must play list at HHI. It is a true shot maker’s course. If you put the ball on the correct side of the fairway you will get some great angles to the green/pin.
