Arrowood is 6271 yards from the tips, 140 slope, the course was designed by Ted Robinson, and is located in Oceanside, north of San Diego. The course is routed through a housing development, but the homes don't really infringe on the course. The layout features some nice rolling land bordered by natural areas and water features and has some fun and interesting holes. There's decent elevation change here, a good amount of bunkers, and some of the best finishing holes in San Diego County. There's a number of short holes which require accuracy, but big drives will be rewarded with a sand wedge to the green. The greens are mid sized and with good undulation and sloping, and roll very well. Very nice layout, with an excellent staff, lower greens fees on weekdays and late afternoon. Generally in good shape.

Fine golf course and experience. Conditions were excellent, plenty of challenge to the golf course, greens were very fair, rolled true. Good challenge to the golf course, and come change in elevation, holes were challenging, but mostly fair. Would highly recommend.

Arrowhead was in great shape this week. Always can count on a good fair round of golf here, with a decent pace of play, at a reasonable price. Even though it's a development course, it doesn't feel all that cramped in. My choice to play in North County.

Absolutely freezing today on the golf course, cloudy, and the wind was up. The course was in great shape, however the pace of play was poor at almost 5 hours. Greens were excellent, and running fast. Good match, picked up a skins bet on a couple of holes, paid for my lunch.

Discovered this course last fall and have played several enjoyable rounds since...The course is challenging, with a variety of shots required. It has plenty of length and difficulty... The fairways were green and fast, the greens undulating and challenging and had only a few imperfections. It's a great course! Enjoy your round and be sure to have an after-round snack in the clubhouse...
