ArrowCreek Country Club is on the south side of Reno, off US 295 at exit 59 in a residential development. with two 18 hole layouts, the Legend course by Arnold Palmer, and the Challenge Course by Fuzzy Zoeller and John Harbottle III, and has been open since 1999. Desert style layouts through the homes with good views of the mountains. The Legend course plays to 7,115 yards from the tips, with a course rating of 75 and a slope of 137, but has four shorter sets of tee boxes. Typical of a Palmer layout, it has a good amount of risk/reward type shots, and is generally considered the easier of the two courses. It's routed over and through desert ravines, rock outcroppings, a ton of sand lining the fairways, and is visually a nice contrast against the desert borders. The Challenge course can play longer at 7,433 yards, 74.0/140 ratings from the tips, and is the tougher of the two layouts. It's more of an open and linksy type of layout through rolling terrain and the desert scrub. Both are fun to play, conditions are usually very good, the only caution is the service attitude in the pro shop, and forget about the food and beverage service in the clubhouse, and eat before or after you play golf.

Arrowcreek was a fantastic and challenging course!...This course certainly is not for the golfing beginner and is still rather difficult for an intermediate golfer. What I felt let it down was there was no map on the scoring card, which made it rather difficult mid way through a hole as you never had a clue what was up ahead, making club selection difficult...Also, if I had not been with someone who had played the course before it would have been less enjoyable.

Course is in good condition for this time of the year. Stay in the fairway though as the rough is full and thick. Fairways are showing some wear and tear near the greens with a lot of repaired divots. Greens and greenside traps were excellent.
