Antelope Hills is on the north side of Prescott where the airport is at the intersection of Rt 89 and Pioneer Parkway. It's a muni, with the usual muni characteristics, spotty maintenance, slow play, and low rates, the cheapest in Prescott. Thirty-six holes here, the North course a parkland style traditional design, and the South, a more open and linkstyle type of course. The North was designed by Lawrence Hughes, was the first course here, and is 6,844 yards, 129/72.9 from the black tees. The South course opened in 1992, was designed by Gary Panks, it plays to 7,014 yards from the tips, 71.6/122 ratings. I prefer the South, it's mostly wide open off the tee, moderate amount of bunkering, more fair, maybe easier to score on, with great views of valley and out to the mountains. Both courses are fine for munis, as long as you know what to expect. The other advantage in playing is Prescott vs Phoenix, it's at 5,000 ft elevation, so your ball flies much further, and it's cooler.
