Angus is southwest of Mattoon in Central Illinois. Zoysia grass in the fairways, excellent to hit from, nice crisp lies. 6705 yards, 128 slope, and 71.7 course rating from the back tees, and designed by Gary and Scott Smith. Great collection of par three's, very challenging. Part links and part parkland style with tree lined fairways, with water in play on eight of the nine holes on the back nine. Nice sized greens, good speed and slight break, lightly bunkered. Fun course to play with a lot of variety, rolling land, reasonable fees, decent conditioning.

What a great layout. One of my favorite courses. Greens have grown in nicely since the aeration A little pricey but definitely worth it.
