The course gets a lot of play, but is reasonably priced. A parkland type layout with 6,026 yards from the back tees, par 71, and a course rating of 68.3 and a slope 118, and opened in 1931. Nice course and a must play in Tacoma, but pace of play can be slow. Fairways and greens are well maintained, but narrow landing areas, and somewhat smallish greens. .

Played Allenmore yesterday, course was in good shape, the greens were punched possibly a week ago, but were growing in and rolled well. Nice mix of holes, some short, some longer and more difficult. It's a tough course for me to score on, I really need to put away the driver when I play here, or I'm in the woods all day.
