Located an hour from Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison, this Dick Nugent designed course plays to 7131 yards, 126 slope, and is a host site for a number of qualifers and high level amateur tournaments. It's a great course, well conditioned and worth the drive. The fairways are wide and forgiving, there's plenty of water hazards, and deep bunkers, not to mention high rough. The greens are large, and roll true. there's an islan part three at the 8th at 200+ yards. Keith Creek winds through the front nine, the back nine has some moderate elevation changes, there's also a replica of the St Andrew's 18th hole bridge. A great course, and test.

With the great weather we have had for the past couple weeks i really thought the sand traps should have been in better condition. Most of them seemed like they have not been raked at all. The greens were ok and the fairways looked good. The staff was nice but the clubhouse prices seem to be a little steep even for golf course prices. I will play it again because i do really like the course, but i twas disappointing this time around expecting too much.
