Adam's Point is in Blue Springs, an eastern suburb of Kansas City. Great course with a lot of variety here, a parkland style front nine with heavily wooded fairways, and an open, links style on the back. The course was designed by Don Sechrest, Quite a variety of golf here, with doglegs, water in the form of streams, lakes and wetland, bunkers, small to mid-sized contoured and relatively fast greens, with tall fescue bordering the fairways. One of the more interesting, and better cared for courses in the area.

Played for the first time this week at Adams Pointe. Loved the golf course layout, but thought the conditions were a little dry, especially the fairways, the greens were tolerable, but starting to dry out, and weren't holding well. The layout is fun and challenging, not too penal on but only the most errant shots, which I had my fair share. Would definitely come back, but might wait till the end of the summer, or once they've had some rain.

Each year this course gets a little better. The rough was quite thick and a little long, but with all the rain we've had, What do you expect. The fairways were a pleasure, and the greens were above average. Only suggestion, take better care of the sand traps. Of course if I stayed out of them it would not be a problem.
