Abita Springs Golf & Country Club

The Abita Springs CC is northeast of Abita Springs a few miles, take the US 190 exit off I-10 to to Rt 36 east to Rt 435 to the golf course. The course is carved through forested land, a few homes on some of the holes, but otherwise natural corridors and tree lined holes. It's a narrow course without a lot of sand and water, and generally maintained OK, but nothing upscale. It's easily walkable, flat and not a lot of distance between holes. It's short at 6447 from the tips, we play the White tees at 6,065 yards, 119 slope. The clubhouse is very basic, if not a little tired, rates are fairly priced.
