We're creating a golf course ratings directory from scratch. The only the courses listed here are those our members believe are worthy of playing and have published to the site. We believe the consumer, the avid golfer, is the best judge on the quality of the golf course and the experience. ForeLinksters has been designed to harness its members' collective intelligence on their golf course experiences, and capture real time updates as conditions change. The ratings system is simple: the more a course is rated, the more likely it is to move to the top or bottom, depending on course conditions and the experiences of the members.
We do not use your e-mail address or personal information in any way, and there are no advertisements here, just good golf courses. The value you receive here is the course knowledge and experiences of fellow golfers and is equal to what you contribute.
The web is flawed for searching for golf courses. As an example, if you search for "Orlando golf course" on Google, the results are based on either how well a course's website is structured for the search words used, or how much a course is willing to pay to be placed at the top of the search results. Neither have anything to do with the quality of the golf course. You may also land on one of the many golf course directories where there's 16,000 US golf course listings without any way to determine the best courses to play in a given area.
Golf Course Ratings: To find the best course in a given area, search by City, State, Country, etc, and the courses will be arranged by their most recent ratings summary.
Search: Searches work for course name, city, state, or country. Results are sorted by relevance, name, or price. Once you select a course's listing, you will find general course information, photos, current and historical ratings, and commentary by other members.
Post New Courses: You may contribute and have your courses published on the site and may include photos, and information you feel will benefit the members. You'll always be attributed as the original publisher of the course.
Edit Course Information: The website is set up like Wikipedia in that if you believe the information on the course description is inaccurate, or needs further elaboration, you can propose a modification.
Rate Courses: As you play the courses listed here, you will update their ratings and share you review or comments on your most recent experience.
Contact other members: You may contact other members, if they have agreed to be contacted. Just click on their posted name in order to request additional information regarding their course or their comments, and/or to inquire of other courses in their area, and other general inquiries.
Alerts: You can set up your account on ForeLinksters with several features. The dashboard will keep track of the courses you have published. It will also keep an eye on courses you want to watch for updates, as well as keeping tabs on the ones you've rated. It will also send you an e-mail notification daily e-mail on new courses that have been added to the website, by state and/or country.
